| A watch is a small clock which is used to display the current time and usually worn on the wrist with the help of watch strap. But before 20th century most of the watches were pocket watches. It had covers and were carried separately which were hooked to a watch chain.
An Analog watch is one in which the time display is not digital but it is indicated by the continuous motion of two or three rotating pointer hands.
The Analog watches are powered by the Quartz usually have a second hand that snaps every second to the next marker. All of the hands are normally mechanical, physically rotating on the dial, although few watches are simulated by a liquid-crystal display.
Analog watches are specifically designed for the left wrist with the stem on the right side of the watch. You can find many Analog digital watches, in this watch, instead of having moving hands like regular analog watch; it uses the LCD to display hands. Analog watches are much cheaper than digital watches.
